Our History

The Ash Group was initially established in 2001 as Ash, Hoch & Company.  The initial focus on offering risk management and insurance brokerage services to the maritime industry was based on a lifetime interest and previous employment experience within the marine industry.  The original team quickly earned the respect of clients and insurance carriers alike.  

Michael Ash gained 100% ownership in the company in 2007 and changed the name to Ash Group LLC in 2008.  Additional team members were recruited – professionals whose passion for client service and commitment to personal development mirrored those of the existing team.  Our continuous focus on client service has resulted in exceptional client loyalty.
